Good war story. Better than any of mine... The only question I'd presume to have is, don't you think that attaining the HGA in a single working seems, well, a bit fast? By my count it's been two months and you've done the whole tree of life--what do you do next?
I achieved the K and C of my HGA within 3 workings in February of 2006 (it was Dunc that did it in one); so it has taken approx. 10 months to complete the crossing of the abyss. But you're right - it's feckin' ludicrous speed. However, taking 6 months to simply make contact with the HGA just seemed a little bonkers to me, considering you can make contact with most entities within one working. Don't get me wrong - since contact was established I've done a number of rather elaborate HGA 'retreats' as part of my attempt at achieving union with my angel, and the crossing of the abyss is an essential part in that process, so my HGA work is still very much ongoing.
The other thing to bear in mind is that the grades above the abyss take a lot longer to 'do' than the ones below - it took Crowley 6 years to complete his Magister Templi grade and become a Magus. So I very much feel like I've only just begun. I suppose if we considered it within an eastern model, I still have all of the formless realms to go yet. And much like your good self, I'm now in a process of scrying the remaining 29 aethyrs - so I've got plenty to do!

We didn't consider this 'essential' material (interesting though it is) which is why it isn't included for free on the site.
I know - maybe I'm just looking for some kind of super ritual to finish this all up - but I probably know it's not going to be that simple. I'm just so drained - and so tired from all this. I had too much talent in the beginning and it made me think I was ready for anything.
I'm working with a few magicians across the country to try and revitalize western occultism - using a combination of DNA theory multi dimensional physics and Enochian magick. But the Oath is always there and it slows my momentum and checks my Will.
You guys are fucking legit - you can tell from reading someones real writing just how competent and adept they have made themselves and whatever you have done seems to have at alchemically transmuted you into someone who can LAY IT THE FUCK DOWN with the written word.
I see a future where adepts from all walks are united under one banner - where there is segregation and ignorance I see a coalition and unity of purpose.
I just need to finish this fucking ordeal.
